Wooden Water Butt Shive 2" Poplar Barrel Bung 5pcs

Our UK Manufactured 2" Poplar Water Butt Shives are the ideal Plug for plugging holes in your Water Butts. Manufactered in the timber species Poplar which absorbs moisture and expands to create a tight seal but is also soft enough to eliminate any risk of damaging the barrel. These bungs are tapered to ensure a perfect fit into circular holes and with a simple tap into the hole these can easily produce the nice tight finish to your Barrels.

Precision Turned to the following specification.

*  Top Diameter  =  51mm

*  Bottom Diameter  =  47mm

*  Thickness  =  25mm  

These have been proven to fit most standard Water Butts, Whisky Barrels, Wine Barrels and Beer Barrels 30 gallons up.
