Wooden Water Butt Shive 2" 11/16" Poplar Barrel Bung 5pcs

Our UK Manufactured 2" 11/16" Poplar Water Butt Shives are the ideal Plug for plugging holes in your Water Butts. Manufactered in the timber species Poplar which absorbs moisture and expands to create a tight seal but is also soft enough to eliminate any risk of damaging the barrel. These bungs are tapered to ensure a perfect fit into circular holes and with a simple tap into the hole these can easily produce the nice tight finish to your Barrels.

Precision Turned to the following specification.

*  Top Diameter  =  68mm

*  Bottom Diameter  =  64mm

*  Thickness  =  25mm  

These have been proven to fit most standard Water Butts, Whisky Barrels, Wine Barrels and Beer Barrels 30 gallons up.
